Product Engineer - Internship
Who we are
HYLOMORPH is a MedTech company based in Zurich, Switzerland. In a dynamic startup environment, our team develops a platform technology for preventing post-operative complications in implantable medical devices (www.hylomorph-medical.com). Our first lead product consists in a tailor-made hydrogel envelope for pacemakers and neurostimulators that surgeons can ergonomically place at the interface between implants and hosting tissue during surgery. Our pre-clinical study has proven excellent safety and tolerability of our devices, as well as a striking reduction of the fibrotic tissue formation in implants.
We closely collaborate with Hospitals in Germany (Berlin) where a first-in-man clinical investigation is ongoing to obtain CE mark and FDA authorizations.
We offer a stimulating and friendly entrepreneurial environment, based at Technopark Zurich, a hub for innovative and high-tech startups in the heart of Zurich. You will be part of our lean team of 8 people and collaborate closely with a network of >30 specialized sub-contractors (CROs, CMOs, testing laboratories, industry experts, etc). You will experience all aspects of medical device life cycle management and startup development.

Your own work organization will be your responsibility. The specific project timelines and deliverables will be defined by COO/CSO. You will deliver your work in form of prototypes and reports (both in a written and presentation form).
